If they had better camera (Closer to Gcam) and maybe a headphone jack they could have been the Android king of 2019

This phone is amazing! It's great looking, fast, premium, and a gorgeous 90hz screen! I highly recommend the OnePlus 7 Pro!

If you've been a part of the OnePlus community then you know why certain things were cut like wireless charging and the headphone jack (RIP). OnePlus is still at it's heart a community driven device. I have been a part of the forums since before the OnePlus 1 was officially released. They question the community before making final designs. And people need to stop complaining about some gaps, it's $300 less than it's major competitors.

I see people hating the curved screen, i personally think it makes the phone look more premium

I love this phone, better features than Samsung or apple at $700. Thank you! Full screen and 4000 mAh battery, and charging from 0-50% in 20 mins! Love it, 256G and 8G RAM, I do run it on full HD for longer battery life but full HD is gorgeous to me, can't really tell a difference in picture for way longer battery life. The new update makes the cameras better than the one in my s9 was.

See the light bleed onto the curved glass at 11:53?

Thats the reason why I returned this phone. SCREW Curved glass. I hated that so much.

OnePlus needs to fix three things:

-Add MicroSD expansion (its not expensive)
                        -Add headphone jack
-Install a single piece of glass thats flat across the screen.

The 1st and 2nd point are hard to realize because there's almost no room for them because it's already stacked with a lot of features. I do understand the 3rd point but that doesn't really bother me

Your battery has not been conditioned properly. Mine easily lasts 2 days mixed use and 7 hours screen on time. This is at 90Hz refresh rate. This phone is great

@Repon Miah when I bought it for the first week I charged to full and then used the phone till the battery had completely discharged 4-5 times. Then once a month I do one of these full discharge cycles. It is really important when doing this to charge from 0% to 100% uninterrupted and let it discharge fully

what should I go for? 8GB or 12GB?
Would not be playing heavy games, but need multitasking, with youtube, notes, social networking and all. and I hate lags.

12 GB in a phone is just overkill, most phones dont exceed 6 GB, 8 will do the job and then some, the 12 GB version is for those who plan to keep the phone for over 3 years to ensure future proofing.

I try to do local upgrade, but there is no local update on my phone either... anybody can explain why? Thank you,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

In Sweden it costs about 890 USD for the OnePlus 7 Pro with the 12 GB/256 GB and 810 USD for the OnePlus 7.We always have to pay ridiculously more money (mainly due to taxes I presume). I almost laugh everytime anyone in the US reviewing a flag ship phone says that it´s quite expensive. However, the plain OnePlus 7 with 6GB RAM/128 GB "only" costs 600 USD.Haha!

There is no doubt that the OnePlus 7 Pro this year is a full blown flagship that futher substantiates that the likes of Apple, Samsung and Huawei pricing at the $1000 dollars plus are in fact inflated. I got the 8gs of RAM 256 storage variant and the 90hrtz refresh rate ironically coming from what used to be known as the full blown flagship killer has just set a new flagship industry standard that now the top flagships have no choice but to follow suit or their sales will suffer. I don't even pick up my iPhone, my note 9 or my S10 anymore because there simply is just that much difference in 90hrtz and 60hrtz as I write professionally and with both apple and samsung as I would get lost in the moment speed typing the 60hrtz would what I had become used to began go lag or fall behind. The OnePlus 7 Pro 90hrtz has yet to lag of fall behind once which is more than a welcome change and makes bot only for myself a better all around user experience, but will do the same for whomever is fortunate enough to own this gorgeous stunning handset for themselves.

Also have Verizon. Was able to get phone service by going on and by " adding new device to existing line", but had to call to get texting to work - they reset my service connection, waited about 3 mins and all was good. Love the phone, took it to Peru and configured it to get standby time of almost 4 days, (changed to dark mode, black and white, knocked refresh and res down) and had plenty of battery life after taking tons of pix and vids every day. Love it, came from iPhone 6, hated that thing, was making calls and sending texts by itself, genius bar was no help - F' em so happy with this phone.

If LG and Samsung can get ip certified, external storage, and 3.5mm jack.... Hmmp seems like One plus is pulling a fast one

Unless you want to take that with you everywhere (i.e. work) you will have to buy 1 or 2 of these potentially which retail at $50 - if you want the warp charging. I love this phone though....someone talk me into buying it. I currently use the LG v30 which has good features - so its hard to justify speeding $700+ thoughts anyone??
