                                                                          Finally made this dish! It's delicious. I didn't realize there was a difference between sardines and anchovies.. so I was def surprised when I opened up the can to these huge gross fish. Kinda just sliced two slivers off one fish and called it good. Ended up getting grossed out half way through the sauce and fished (HA) out the remaining sardines. Also used normal raisins rather than golden, not sure if it would of made that big of a difference.

During the 1800s, Irish salt miners would bring a bag of small, unpeeled, substandard potatoes to work each day. At lunch time, they boiled the potatoes in salt brine.
